Life in Tuguegarao
ツゲガラオ（Tuguegarao City）はマニラから北へ約480kmのところにある地方都市である。カガヤン州（Cagayan State）の州都、および周辺4州を加えたRegion IIの首都でもある。北ルソン随一の都市といっても過言ではない。
とはいえ、面積約124km2、人口約12万人（2000年）、人口1,000あたりの犯罪発生率は1件/年（2002年）と、わりと平和な小都市というのが実感。
生活圏
Tuguegarao City is a provincial city about 500km north of Manila. It is the capital of Cagayan State and also the capital of Region II, which contains four more states around there. So we can say it one of the biggest cities in Northern Luzon area.
However, my honest impression is that it is rather a small and peaceful city in a remote area. Statistics might help my idea; its area is 124km2, population is 120,000 (year 2000), and number of annual crimes per 1,000 population is just 1 (year 2002).

It is the commercial center of Tuguegarao City. Convenient for shopping.
